Writing and composition; all genres: technical, academic, editorial, feature, fiction, and humor.

Editing; strong grasp of grammar mechanics, knowledge of Greek and Latin roots and their morphology.

CAD; in depth experience with AutoCad on several platforms--specific work related experience in drafting control circuits for automated factory presses; 3D modeling and animation with TrueSpace, 3D Studio, and Maya.

Digital Imaging; professional level ability with both Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady; knowledge of assorted file formats necessary for going to press or to be optimized for the web; use of drawing tablets and digital paint programs such as Fractal Design Painter for artwork and animation.

Layout and Design; several thousand hours of Quark experience designing materials for print publication on a fast schedule, able to contribute to the process of production from beginning to end--whether manual "paste up" is required or materials are to be submitted electronically.

Photojournalism; both use and maintenance of conventional and digital cameras, specializing in arena-level concert photography.

PC and Apple Macintosh computer maintenance, upgrading, and repair; in depth knowledge of computer components (installation, replacement, and compatibility); use and networking of AppleTalk and all Microsoft OS platforms; routers, hubs, and Internet Connection Sharing; strong DOS and "command line" ability.

Video Editing; linear and nonlinear with Premier and After Effects; scaling and recompression of video for the creation of DVD, VCD and SVCD discs for content playback and presentation.

Web Design and Hosting; developed and designed several websites using both Microsoft Front Page and Macromedia Dreamweaver; in depth knowledge of search engine optimization and website promotion.
